Thursday

So this time I am going to write in first person. let me know what you think.
Last night G decided to stay at home. It was either that or start strangling people at work. I was very supportive. Secretly because when he stays home he sees that son # 1 gets on the bus and makes breakfast and the coffee.

So As I descend my staircase like I 'm movie star with a cup of coffee waiting for me . Pure decadence. Then I realize that I have a playdate for the 2 kids at home coming over in two hours. I look around and snap out of my movie star haze.

Dishes high in the sink, unfolded laundry on the couch, The bathroom looked like a two year has been potty training.
I hurriedly get ready, cleaning, baking muffins, and get my son to help clean the living room. I shower as I think my guest would probably thank me. I vaccum and find my Fast
tips for Cleaning House book wedged under one of my couches. Hmmmm I need to sit down and read that sometime.

Play date was nice and my house was tidier. my Instyle Magazine , and Nordstoms Catalog came in the mail. So I got to pour over them .

I need to squeeze in a workout and I will be set!

Thursdays are so much better than Wed.

Real Housewife of Renton Cocktails

Sometimes a girl would like a Cocktail. Something yummy and refreshing, to kick off a weekend at the end of a long week , or hangout with your glamorous girlfriends.

Not Only is this adult Root beer Float ( Or not your kids Root beer Float) all of this but it is fun!!!!

Take a nice cold tall glass. ( I like to put mine in the freezer for a few)

Add some ice

Pour a little or a lot of Vanilla Vodka ( My SIL suggested that root beer schnapps would be good)

Then add Root beer. I Like Mugg, but Bargs ,or Thomas Kemper would be a good choice Be sure to leave a little room

Then with a small scoop I use a cookie dough scoop, scoop one or two scoops of good vanilla ice cream. I like Vanilla bean personally

Add a fun bendy straw and you are set Girl!

Cheers!

Wed. Episode

On this episode:
Su hates Wed. Maybe even over Mondays. Someone on the school board decided that
Wed. Should be a Teacher planning day so the kids go to school a half day. Some kids go early in the morning and some kids go later in the morning. Su's of course are are early.

Fifteen minutes earlier than other school days to get kids up, fed, dressed and to the bust stop. Su would love to have whomever it is that made this up be awoken every Wed. 15 minutes earlier than normal forthe rest of their lives.

Son # 1 is off to school. She then gets son # 2 ready for school. Valentines card for kids and teachers for the party.

then she spends two hours going to stores and trying to find cookies for the party to decorate since someone forgot to make and bring them. This on an empty stomache and 12 cups of coffee is not a good combo.

Then its off to pick kids up and go to to the parents house and get some much needed lunch.

IT was a nice rest but Su is still tired. She calls G and he is tried and grumpy. Rather than clean and cook they opt to go out of Mexican food. not the healthiest but they drink water and share.

Then home and stories. Kids are asleep and Su is ready to crash but first a Cocktail. what better drink to kick Wednesday's Ass until next week but one her signature drink Su on the Beach .

Kiss my ass Wed.

Tuesday's Episode

Su seems to never get up in time. Son # 1 complains of not feeling good. Gave him so breakfast and he was much better. All day she waited for the phone to ring and tell her to come to school and pick him up! The call never came.

Su knows she should workout but doesn't want to. she also doesn't want to eat right but she does. Four mini muffins are better than one huge one right? Finally, she gets off her butt and tries her new Wii game Dance Revoltution. The characters on the screen are really grooving but all she is doing is stepping on arrows and do crazy box steps. Nothing at all like the dances the kids were doing on Club MTV with Downtown Julie Brown. She then turns it over to Babygirl. she doesn't know how to do it either byt somehow manages to get a higher score. Babygirl also does the same music over and over again. Disturbia by Rihanna.

Son # 2 is very quiet today. Hanging out and watching sis.

Su makes muffins and get out the things to make Valentines. The ones she forgot to have the kids to yesterday. It takes every fiber in her body to not get in and do them all perfectly. Baby girl is cutting and tearing things, and putting stickers askew. Son # 2 is writing his name huge and can't get it on the page. She has to remind herself that this is charming, quirky and cute. Son # 1 is doing well thank goodness.

She finds a good time to call he man G. G makes her feel like a weirdo for calling at work. like why is she calling him. Like she is some naughy call girl and not the wife that just needs broccoli for baked potato bar for dinner . So she hangs up and stews. Gets out one of her many how to clean house books. Su loves theses even though she never puts them to use.

Su is on her own. Finally she decides to be nice to her family and make something everyone loves. Fried rice. kids and Grumpy G love .

Soon it is bathtime and then off to Dance Class! A great workout Su will feel it for days.

She comes home ready to crash, but Babygirl is not feeling well. So meds , water and lots of cuddles.

Not a bad day in Renton.

My favorite Cleaning Products

I would like to say I would highlight a cleaning product every week or even every month , but as you get to know me. I really don't like to clean and probably don't do it as often as I should! What I can tell you is I love the MAGIC ERASER from Mr. Clean. This baby has it going on! Sinks, counter tops, inside the fridge. My personal favorite, getting off all those smudgy finger prints off walls and the banister. It is safe I even have my boys use them once and awhile. I often want to include these in people's wedding , shower, and baby gifts. I Don't because I don't want to offend. http://www.mrclean.com/en_US/magic-eraser.do

Every week I would like to highlight a honest to goodness Real housewife. Be it from fiction , celeb, and maybe I will throw in a real life friend.

This week it is Marge Simpson. She does it all from taking an interest in Lisa's endeavours, to seeing Bart's teachers yet again, to changing Maggie's diapers and last but certainly not least taking care of Homer. Of course much much more! Even though people cringe when the Simpson family walks down the street she loves her kids no matter what and is proud of her Homie. Way to go Marge! How you do it all and keep your hair looking good I will never know!

Mondays Episode

Okay So I was going to try and do each post like a preview to my show. Let me know if you like it.

Monday on Real Housewife of Renton

Su wakes up late and tries drag her boys out of bed. Doesn't work, runs downstairs to get a healthy breakfast cooked for her kids. Who is she kidding? they each get a Danimals Crush Cup! Easy Peasy.

Ends up running late for bus. Holy cow is that ice out side?! Time to get gloves , hats and heavy jackets. None of this is to be had becaue Su is not organized at all.

Babygirl is not even up yet.

the day continues like this. She tries to workout but is pestered by questions about Wii. She has no idea how to pass a certian level of Batman Lego Wii!
To relax does Su sit down and read a book and eat chocolates? Nope it s a sandwhich and watching how to lay your own brick patio on Youtube.!!

Crap! Did Su have dinner?

Double crap forgot to do kid # 2's Valentines for his class!

Here I am.

Never in a million years would I think that I would do a Blog. First of all who the heck would read about my life? My boring little life.

I live on FB and have gotten lots of great comments about my posts ant status. That I tell it how it is. Some have even said that I say things that they think or feel and that I' m like a friend sitting right there with them in their office, home, or kitchen. that of course makes me very happy!

So how did this Blog actually happen? Well last week I posted something without really thinking ofnFB

Something along the lines of : "Next on the Real Housewives of Renton WA , Su confronts her man for being so loud early in the morning! Could he be any louder? But first she has to take care of her OWN kids. Will she be nice you yell at them to haul ass!!!"

Two of my friends told me that they loved it and told me to blog and that they would follow .

I watch those Real Housewives shows with glee, fear, jealousy you name it. Wish I had a maid, nice, cars, gorgeous body, fab hair, ect. They seem so removed from reality or at least my reality . Trips and boarding school, cat fights over silly things. But sometimes the camera finds a moment usually when they are with their families. where there is what I feel genuine love and family togetherness. Its very fast cause them they are back to princess trashingthe car. But those moments are something similar to me , something I can relate. Love.

This is not only for housewives to read, but all women. We all work and take care of kids, pets , house, and home. I really respect those mammas that go to the office and come come home to be the housewife as well. Married with no kids, Single moms, and even my single friends there is a place here for you.

I haven't decided if names will be changed to protect the innocent( the Other Housewives of Renton, you know who you are!)
